OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND PARTICIPANT RELEASE

Event: Quilter Laboratories "Get in the Game" Guitar Playoff
Location: The NAMM Show 2026, Anaheim Convention Center
Sponsor: Quilter Laboratories, LLC ("Sponsor")

1. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES

By participating in the "Get in the Game" Guitar Playoff (the "Contest"), each entrant ("Entrant") unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Quilter Laboratories, LLC ("Sponsor"), which shall be final and binding in all respects.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to registered attendees of The NAMM Show 2026 who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence) at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.

International Participants: This contest is void where prohibited by law. International Entrants are responsible for ensuring their participation complies with the laws of their home jurisdiction.

3. NATURE OF CONTEST

Entrants acknowledge that this Contest is a game involving elements of chance and showmanship. While guitar playing is involved, the determination of winners is based on audience reaction and subjective entertainment value, rather than technical musical proficiency or a specific objective skill set.

4. CONTEST STRUCTURE & GAMEPLAY

The Contest will be conducted in a bracket-style tournament format:

The Bracket: Up to eight (8) Entrants will compete in head-to-head rounds (1 vs. 1).

Elimination: Winners of each round will advance to the next stage until four (4) Entrants remain, followed by a semi-final reducing the field to two (2) Finalists.

The Final: The final two Entrants will compete over a "Mystery Backing Track" provided by the Sponsor. Neither Entrant will have heard this track prior to the performance. A coin flip will determine which Finalist performs first.

Winner Selection: Winners of each round, including the Final, are decided by audience participation/acclamation and the ruling of the designated Contest Referee.

5. PRIZES

Daily/Event Winner Prize: The winner of the live NAMM Show bracket will receive:

  • One (1) NAMM 2026 Challenge Coin (as used in the contest).
  • One (1) Quilter Elevate Headphone Amplifier/Interface.

Grand Prize (Online Promotion): Winners agree to participate in a subsequent online voting competition ("Get in the Game"). The winner of the online popular vote will receive:

  • One (1) Quilter Mach 3 Combo Amplifier.

Taxes: All federal, state, local, and municipal taxes associated with the receipt or use of any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

6. PUBLICITY AND MEDIA RELEASE (CRITICAL)

By participating in the Contest, Entrant grants to Sponsor and its agents, successors, and assigns a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the Entrant's name, likeness, image, voice, appearance, and musical performance (collectively, "Attributes") in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, etc.), the QuilterLabs.com website, and marketing materials, for any purpose, including advertising and trade, without further compensation, notice, review, or approval.

Interview Consent: The Winner agrees to participate in a short, filmed promotional interview with the Referee immediately following the contest.

7. ONLINE PROMOTION AGREEMENT

Entrants specifically agree that if they win the live event, they are contractually obligated to participate in the post-show "Get in the Game" online marketing promotion. Entrant authorizes Sponsor to post video footage of their performance online for the purpose of a public vote.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & RELEASE

By entering, Entrant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless Quilter Laboratories, LLC, The NAMM Show, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, directors, officers, and employees from and against any and all claims, liability, costs (including attorneys' fees), losses, damages, fines, or injuries (up to and including bodily injury and death) of any kind arising out of or related to:

  • (a) Entrant's participation in the Contest;
  • (b) Acceptance, possession, misuse, or use of any prize;
  • (c) Any technical malfunctions or equipment failures during the performance;
  • (d) Any use of the Entrant's Attributes as permitted hereunder.

9. DATA PRIVACY

Information submitted by Entrants will be subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy available at QuilterLabs.com.

GDPR/International Notice: By entering, international Entrants explicitly consent to the transfer of their personal data to the United States for the purposes of contest administration and marketing.

10. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This Contest and Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding relating to this Agreement shall be instituted in a state or federal court in Orange County, California.
